by Gisteravond zijn in Los Angeles de winnaars bekend gemaakt van de Oscars 2024. Oppenheimer is de grote winnaar van de 96e Oscar-uitreiking. De film over de ontwikkeling van de atoombom won zeven prijzen, waaronder die voor de beste film, regisseur en acteur. De prijzenregen voor Oppenheimer kreeg nog een Nederlands tintje: cinematograaf Hoyte van Hoytema mocht een prijs in ontvangst nemen voor zijn camerawerk.
