Een teaser trailer en poster voor Noah Hawley’s Alien: Earth zijn onthuld.
Alien: Earth is een nieuwe FX-serie die in 2025 naar Disney Plus komt. In de serie, die dient als prequel op de Alien-film van Ridley Scott uit 1979, spelen Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Kit Young, Essie Davis, en meer.

Vergelijkbaar met eerder uitgebrachte promobeelden voor de serie, biedt de teaser trailer een close-up van een angstaanjagend uitziende Xenomorph. De tekst in de video luidt: “In 2120 verwacht Moeder Aarde.
Alien: Earth
De synopsis luidt: “Wanneer een mysterieus ruimteschip een noodlanding maakt op aarde, doen een jonge vrouw (Sydney Chandler) en een groepje tactische soldaten een noodlottige ontdekking die hen oog in oog brengt met de grootste bedreiging van de planeet.
De cast van Alien: Earth bestaat uit Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Kit Young, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Adarsh Gourav, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diém Camille, Adrian Edmondson, Moe Bar-El en Sandra Yi Sencindiver.
Hawley vertelde eerder aan Deadline over de serie:
“There’s something about seeing a Xenomorph in the wilds of Earth with your own eyes. That is truly chilling to think of it moving here among us, and so I can’t tell you under what circumstances you’ll see that, but you’ll see it — and you’re going to lock your door that night. What was really fun for me was to really engage with the creature, bring some of my own thoughts to the design while not touching the silhouette, because that’s sacrosanct. But some of the elements as we know, whatever the host is, informs what the final creature is. I just wanted to play around a little bit to make it as scary as it should be.”
FX’s Alien: Earth gaat in première in de zomer van 2025 op Disney Plus Nederland.
